This subject has been long debated within Christian circles, some think mystery Babylon the great is America, others say it is Rome or the Catholic church and others say different.
I have been studying Bible prophecy since i became a born again believer in the Lord Jesus which is about 2 years ago, the Lord has directed me to this particular area of the Bible and his holy spirit has revealed to me the answer to perhaps the greatest mystery of the end times wrath of God, the identity of mystery Babylon the great!
On presenting this evidence many will not be able to accept this revelation for the Lord has made it that way but there will be others to whom the Lord will open their eyes and they will see clearly that the evidence presented is valid and correct.
All evidence given is taken directly from scripture so there is no disputing that it does not line up with Gods word.
Characteristics of “Mystery Babylon the Great”:
1. She sits on peoples, multitudes, nations and languages.
2. The world is intoxicated with the wine of her adulteries.
3. She sits on the beast that has seven heads and ten horns.
4. She was drunk with the blood of the saints.
5. John was greatly astonished when he saw her.
6. The beast and the ten horns will hate her.
7. The beast will bring her to ruin and burn her with fire.
8. She is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.
This is what is said about mystery Babylon the great the Mother of all Prostitutes!
(Revelation 17:1-7).
One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, "Come, I WILL SHOW YOU THE PUNISHMENT OF THE GREAT PROSTITUTE, WHO SITS ON MANY WATERS.
With her the kings of the earth committed adultery and the inhabitants of the earth were intoxicated with the wine of her adulteries." Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a desert. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns. The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. She held a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries. This title was written on her forehead: MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
I SAW THAT THE WOMAN WAS DRUNK WITH THE BLOOD OF THE SAINTS, THE BLOOD OF THOSE WHO BORE TESTIMONEY TO JESUS.
When I saw her, I WAS GREATLY ASTONISHED. Then the angel said to me: "Why are you astonished? I will explain to you the mystery of the woman and of the beast she rides, which has the seven heads and ten horns.
Then the angel said to me, " THE WATERS YOU SAW, WHERE THE PROSTITUTE SITS, ARE PEOPLES, MULTITUDES, NATIONS AND LANGUAGES. (Revelation 17:15).
The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute. They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire. For God has put it into their hearts to accomplish his purpose by agreeing to give the beast their power to rule, until God's words are fulfilled. The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth (Revelation 17:16-18).
Revelation 17:5-6 - And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
Revelation 18:24 - And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
Matthew 23:37 - O JESUSALEM, JERUSALEM, thou that KILLEST THE PROPHETS, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Revelation 16:6 - For they have shed the blood of SAINTS AND, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
2 Kings 9:7 - And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, THAT I MAY AVENGE THE BLOOD OF MY SERVANTS THE PROPHETS, AND THE BLOOD OF ALL THE SEVRANTS OF THE LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.

Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
Romans 11; (The Remnant of Israel), They are the true sons of God who will receive eternal salvation at the end of this age.
3 "Lord, THEY HAVE KILLED YOUR PROPHETS, they have demolished your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life."
4 But what is God’s reply to him? "I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal."
5 So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace.
6 But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.
7 What then? Israel failed to obtain what it was seeking. The elect obtained it, but the rest were hardened,
8 as it is written, "God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that would not see and ears that would not hear, down to this very day."
9 And David says, "Let their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution for them; 10let their eyes be darkened so that they cannot see, and bend their backs “FOREVER."
“Mystery Babylon the Great” is a rich Nation that professes a faith in the true God but is really full of unbelief and disobedience. Again, John reveals that the final outcome of this wealthy superpower is DESTRUCTION BY FIRE IN ONE DAY AND ONE HOUR. Her destruction is both swift and complete.
Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her: death, mourning and famine. SHE WILL BE CONSUMED BY FIRE, for mighty is the Lord God who judges her. ... In one hour your doom has come! … When they see the smoke of her burning, they will exclaim, 'Was there ever a city like this great city (Revelation 18:8, 10 and 18)?
When the Antichrist and his kingdom destroy “Mystery Babylon the Great”, the world will certainly say, "Who is like the beast? Who can make war against him?"
