Patent confirms that aspartame is the excrement of GMO bacteria

In 1999, The Independent published an article entitled “World’s top sweetener is made with GMO bacteria,” which revealed that Monsanto was knowingly adding aspartame to soft drinks in the United States – and that aspartame is made from GM bacteria. This report, which remains one of the earliest disclosures on aspartame in a mainstream newspaper, received little attention after its publication – possibly because its implications were underestimated at the time – and it has long been forgotten.

Since 1999, the world has become a little more attentive to Monsanto and aspartame, but ignorance still abounds about the latter’s genesis. While more and more people are starting to awaken to aspartame’s destructive effects on our health, do they know how it is actually made? Fortunately, a 1981 patent for aspartame production, once confined to the drawers of patent offices, is now available online for everyone to see – and it confirms everything that Monsanto was happy to tell us in 1999 before their meteoric growth necessitated greater prudence.

The production process

The patent, which is entitled Process for producing aspartame and is credited to Bahl, Rose, and White, summarizes the process as follows:

“The artificial sweetener aspartame, a dipeptide with the formula Asp-Phe-me, is produced using a cloned micrcorganism [sic]. A DNA which codes for a large stable peptide comprised of the repeating amino acid sequence (Asp-Phe)n is inserted into a cloning vehicle which in turn is introduced into a suitable host microorganism. The host microorganism is cultured and the large peptide containing the repeating Asp-Phe sequence is harvested therefrom. The free carboxyl group of the large peptide is benzylated and then hydrolysed to benzyl Asp-Phe dipeptides. This dipeptide is methylated and then debenzylated to form aspartame.”

This scientific jargon obfuscates (perhaps deliberately) a truly disturbing process:

1.) ‘Cloned microorganisms’ (which the patent later reveals to be genetically modified E. coli) are cultivated in tanks whose environments are tailored to help them thrive.2.) The well-fed E. coli cultures defecate the proteins that contain the aspartic acid-phenylalanine amino acid segment needed to make aspartame.3.) The proteins containing the Asp-Phe segments are ‘harvested’ (i.e. lab assistants collect the bacteria’s feces).4.) The feces are then treated. This includes a process of methylation (adding an excess of the toxic alcohol, methanol, to the protected dipeptide).

While common sense dictates that this abomination doesn’t belong anywhere near our bodies, the patent’s authors made no secret about their belief that aspartame constitutes a safe and nutritious sweetener:

“Aspartame is not only sweeter than sucrose, but is preferable as a food to sucrose. While sucrose can provide the body with little more than energy, aspartame is composed of amino acids, the building blocks of body proteins, and like other proteins is broken down by the digestive enzymes in the stomach to its constituent amino acids thus providing nutritive value. [...] For these reasons, aspartame holds significant promise in replacing sugar as a sweetener.”

So there we have it: An official document that not only reveals the shocking truth behind aspartame production, but also freely admits that it was intended for mass consumption as a sucrose substitute. Therefore, the next time someone claims that your reservations about this sweetener are unfounded, direct them to this patent – the truth behind aspartame is now in plain view.

Pentagon Child Porn Scandal

Federal investigators have identified dozens of Pentagon officials and contractors with high level security clearances who have allegedly used government computers to purchase and download child pornography. Some of the Pentagon workers have been charged, some have been sentenced and others have had charges dropped against them.

A major federal investigation has found that dozens of military officials and defense contractors, including some with top-level security clearances, allegedly bought and downloaded child pornography on private or government computers.

The Pentagon on Friday released investigative reports spanning almost a decade that implicated individuals working with agencies handling some of the nation's most closely guarded secrets, including the National Security Agency and the National Reconnaissance Office, which operates U.S. spy satellites.

Defense workers who purchased child porn put the Department of Defense, "the military and national security at risk by compromising computer systems, military installations and security clearances," a 2007 investigative report said.

The suspects also put the Defense Department "at risk of blackmail, bribery, and threats," one report added. The reports, however, do not point to any specific security breaches.

The Boston Globe disclosed the results of the investigations on Friday after obtaining the documents through the Freedom of Information Act. The Defense Department released the reports, which are heavily redacted, with most names and details about each case omitted.

Several suspects were convicted and sentenced to prison terms of up to about five years and ordered to pay hefty fines – including one of $150,000. But several suspects identified by investigators were never prosecuted.

In a Virginia case, a contractor working for the National Security Agency was indicted on child pornography charges but fled the country and is believed to be hiding in Libya.

According to federal investigators, a computer repair shop had alerted the police after finding "thousands of possible child pornography images" on a hard drive brought in by a man who worked for the Naval Air Warfare Center in China Lake, Calif. The suspect died of pulmonary disease in 2009 before he could be charged, a report said.

In June 2003, a technician checking for a computer virus discovered what appeared to be child pornography on the computer of a contractor for the Security and Intelligence Directorate of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA, in Arlington, Va.

The federal investigation of military workers was part of a broader effort initiated in 2007 under the code name "Operation Flicker." That project had identified more than 5,000 individuals who subscribed to child pornography websites.

Butter vs Margarine: The Big Fat Butter Lie

Is butter bad for you? For decades, the food processing industry has used advertising campaigns to successfully lie about the urgent and proven need to replace “unhealthy” butter with “healthy” margarine. Worse yet, they inhibit the utilization of essential omega 3-fatty acids as wells a prostaglandins, which eliminate blood clots. Additionally, a diet high in partially hydrogenated fatty acids has been linked to insulin resistance and type 2 Diabetes.

The NY Times covers hydrogenated oil health issues while still promoting saturated fat nonsense. In order to function properly, your lungs, heart, immune system liver, bones, hormones and cell membranes all require high quality saturated fats - in moderation of course. Fatty acids and cholesterol are needed for healthy cell membranes, hormone and vitamin D production, and the transport and utilization of important vitamins and minerals. Now even mainstream media is spreading the truthful real news on butter. The New England Journal of Medicine recently solidified the link between trans fats and heart disease. Even low levels of trans fats consumption (1%-2%) substantially increase heart disease.

Butter vs Margarine: Butter Hierarchy: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

So what should you be looking for?

• At the top of the pyramid is organic butter made with raw milk from grass fed cows.
• The middle level is organic butter with pasteurized milk from grass fed cows and without rBGH, rBST, or antibiotics.
• The pyramid’s base is butter made from pasteurized milk from confined, grain fed, factory farmed, antibiotic and likely rBGH or rBST injected cows.

Amazingly, the butter at the bottom of the pyramid is still better for you than margarine! Margarine is merely a lab created plastic food-like substance, not by any means a real food. Why Medicine Won't Allow Cancer to Be Cured

Imagine a commercial plane crashed and there were some fatalities involved. You can be sure that would make the headline of every major newspaper. Well, we have the equivalent of 8-10 planes crashing EVERY DAY with everyone on board dying from cancer.

Nearly two million Americans are diagnosed with cancer every year—one person out of three will be hit with a cancer diagnosis at some time in their lives, in spite of the massive technological advances over the past half-century.

Western medicine is no closer to finding a “cancer cure,” while cancer has grown into a worldwide epidemic of staggering proportions. The statistics speak for themselves:

• In the early 1900s, one in 20 people developed cancer
• In the 1940s, one in 16 people developed cancer
• In the 1970s, it was one in 10
• Today, it’s one in three!

According to the CDC, about 1,660,290 (1.66 million) new cancer cases are expected to be diagnosed in 2013¹. If overall death rates are falling, why are incidence rates still on the rise? The answer is simple: the 40-year “war on cancer” has been a farce.

The cancer epidemic is a dream for Big Pharma, and their campaigns to silence cancer cures have been fierce, which is a tale well told in the documentary film featured below, Cancer: Forbidden Cures.

The Cancer Machine

Please understand that cancer is big business. The cancer industry is spending virtually nothing of its multi-billion dollar resources on effective prevention strategies, such as dietary guidelines, exercise and obesity education. Instead, it pours its money into treating cancer, not preventing or curing it.

Why would they shoot their cash cow? If they can keep the well-oiled Cancer Machine running, they will continue to make massive profits on chemotherapy drugs, radiotherapy, diagnostic procedures and surgeries.

The typical cancer patient spends $50,000 fighting the disease. Chemotherapy drugs are among the most expensive of all treatments, many ranging from $3,000 to $7,000 for a one-month supply.

If the cancer industry allows a cure, then their patient base goes away. It makes more sense to keep a steady stream of cancer patients alive, but sick and coming back for more. How did this societal monster come about?

The featured documentary is enormously informative. It details how the pharmaceutical industry partnered with the American Medical Association (AMA) in an ingenious plan to overtake the medical system in four swift, easy steps, back in the early 1900s. In a nutshell, it went something like this:

1. International bankers that own the drug and chemical companies gained control over the medical education system over 100 years ago.
2. They gave grants to the AMA and leading medical schools in exchange for seats on their board and the ability to control policy.
3. Finally, they cleverly engineered their control of virtually every federal regulatory agency relating to the practice of medicine.

‘Don’t You DARE Cure Anyone!’

In spite of the enormous amounts of money funneled into cancer research today, two out of three cancer patients will be dead within five years after receiving all or part of the standard cancer treatment trinity—surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. This is not too surprising when you consider that two of the three are carcinogenic themselves! One study estimated that chemotherapy benefits about one of every 20 people receiving it.

Over the last hundred years, a number of natural cancer treatments have been developed and used successfully to treat patients in the US and other countries. All have been vehemently discounted, silenced, and pushed under the rug by the medical monopoly, with physicians and researchers attacked, smeared, sent to prison, and professionally ruined for daring to defy the medical establishment.

To this day, with respect to credibility in medicine, “quack” is synonymous with “competition.”

My Top 12 Cancer Prevention Strategies

There is so much you can do to lower your risk for cancer. But please don’t wait until you get the diagnosis—you have to take preventative steps NOW. It’s much easier to prevent cancer than to treat it, once it takes hold. I believe you can virtually eliminate your risk of cancer and chronic disease, and radically improve your chances of recovering from cancer if you currently have it, by following these relatively simple strategies.

1. Food Preparation: Eat at least one-third of your food raw. Avoid frying or charbroiling; boil, poach or steam your foods instead. Consider adding cancer-fighting whole foods, herbs, spices and supplements to your diet, such as broccoli,curcumin and resveratrol. 2. Carbohydrates and Sugar: Reduce or eliminate processed foods, sugar/fructose and grain-based foods from your diet. The evidence is quite clear that if you want to avoid cancer, or you currently have cancer, you absolutely MUST avoid all forms of sugar, especially fructose, which feeds cancer cells and promotes their growth. Make sure your total fructose intake is around 25 grams daily, including fruit.
3. Protein and Fat: Consider reducing your protein levels to one gram per kilogram of lean body weight. It would be unusual for most adults to need more than 100 grams of protein and most likely close to half of that amount. Replace excess protein with high-quality fats, such as organic eggs from pastured hens, high-quality meats, avocados, and coconut oil.
4. GMOs: Avoid genetically engineered foods as they are typically treated with herbicides such as Roundup (glyphosate), and likely to be carcinogenic. A French research team that has extensively studied Roundup concluded it’s toxic to human cells, and likely carcinogenic to humans. Choose fresh, organic, preferably locally grown foods.
5. Animal-Based Omega-3 fats: Normalize your ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fats by taking a high-quality krill oil and reducing your intake of processed vegetable oils.
6. Natural Probiotics: Optimizing your gut flora will reduce inflammation and strengthen your immune response. Researchers have found a microbe-dependent mechanism through which some cancers mount an inflammatory response that fuels their development and growth. They suggest that inhibiting inflammatory cytokines might slow cancer progression and improve the response to chemotherapy. Adding naturally fermented food to your daily diet is an easy way to prevent cancer or speed recovery. You can always add a high-quality probiotic supplement as well, but naturally fermented foods are the best.
7. Exercise: Exercise lowers insulin levels, which creates a low sugar environment that discourages the growth and spread of cancer cells. In a three-month study, exercise was found to alter immune cells into a more potent disease-fighting form in cancer survivors who had just completed chemotherapy. Researchers and cancer organizations increasingly recommend making regular exercise a priority in order to reduce your risk of cancer, and help improve cancer outcomes. Research has also found evidence suggesting exercise can help trigger apoptosis (programmed cell death) in cancer cells. 8. Vitamin D: There is scientific evidence you can decrease your risk of cancer by more than halfsimply by optimizing your vitamin D levels with appropriate sun exposure. Your serum level should hold steady at 50-70 ng/ml, but if you are being treated for cancer, it should be closer to 80-90 ng/ml for optimal benefit. If you take oral vitamin D and have cancer, it would be very prudent to monitor your vitamin D blood levels regularly, as well as supplementing your vitamin K2, as K2 deficiency is actually what produces the symptoms of vitamin D toxicity. 9. Sleep: Make sure you are getting enough restorative sleep. Poor sleep can interfere with your melatonin production, which is associated with an increased risk of insulin resistance and weight gain, both of which contribute to cancer’s virility.
10. Exposure to Toxins: Reduce your exposure to environmental toxins like pesticides, herbicides, household chemical cleaners, synthetic air fresheners and toxic cosmetics.
11. Exposure to Radiation: Limit your exposure and protect yourself from radiation produced by cell phones, towers, base stations, and Wi-Fi stations, as well as minimizing your exposure from radiation-based medical scans, including dental x-rays, CT scans, and mammograms.
12. Stress Management: Stress from all causes is a major contributor to disease. Even the CDC states that 85 percent of disease is driven by emotional factors. It is likely that stress and unresolved emotional issues may be more important than the physical ones, so make sure this is addressed. What to Do If You Already Have Cancer

Without a doubt the most powerful essential strategy I know of to treat cancer is to starve the cells by depriving them of their food source. Unlike your body cells, which can burn carbs or fat for fuel, cancer cells have lost that metabolic flexibility. Dr. Otto Warburg was actually given a Nobel Prize over 75 years ago for figuring this out but virtually no oncologist actually uses this information.

Italy Becomes the 9th EU Nation To Ban Monsanto’s GMO Corn

The Italians are on to something big that could cause a ripple effect throughout the EU. Three Italian ministries have signed a decree banning the cultivation of Monsanto's genetically modified corn, citing environmental concerns, the agriculture ministry said last week.

Earlier this year, Poland had become the eighth EU member state to ban the cultivation of genetically modified (GM) crops. Seven other EU member states have already imposed bans on the cultivation of GM crops approved by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) as safe: Austria, France, Germany, Hungary, Luxembourg, Greece and Bulgaria. Now Italy has joined the ranks.

Nation ministries continue to express concerns that GM crops may cross-pollinate with non-GM crops and Monsanto’s MON810 maize pollen may find its way into honey. There exists no scientific assessments confirming that GM crops are safe for the environment and people.

The decree, which still needs to be published in the official gazette to become binding, targets Monsanto's MON810 maize, one of two genetically modified organisms (GMO) allowed in Europe and the only one currently grown commercially.

The ban was also signed off by the health and environment ministries, with the agriculture ministry citing the crop's "negative impact on biodiversity".

"Our agriculture is based on biodiversity, on quality, and those we must continue to aim for, without games that even from an economic point of view would not make us competitive," the ministry said.

The ministry said it had already notified the European Commission and other states in the European Union of the move.

"The Commission will look into the Italian safeguard measure in more detail, and we have already asked the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) to assess the scientific basis for the decision," said Frederic Vincent, the Commission's health spokesman. EFSA is the EU's food safety watchdog.

While GMO cultivation approvals are agreed jointly at the EU level, individual governments can introduce safeguards if they believe that cultivation could present a health or environmental risk. Those moves, however, are always verified by the Commission.

France put in place a similar temporary ban on GMO crops last year.

It was just two years ago that French police stood helpless as sixty people, locked inside an open-air field of genetically modified grapevines, uprooted all the plants. In Spain, dozens of people have destroyed GMO fields. In an anonymous press release that year, they wrote, “This kind of direct action is the best way to respond to the fait accompli policy through which the Generalitat, the State and the biotech multinationals have been unilaterally imposing genetically modified organisms.”

Europe is quickly becoming the most progressive continent in the world to oppose GM foods. France, Italy, Switzerland, Hungary, Bosnia, Serbia, Croatia, Latvia and Albania have all declared many regions to be GMO-free. France made an important step in the no-GMO movement by specifically defining exactly what "GMO-free" means when it comes to food labeling. Spain and Portugal are slowing advancing but they have a long way to go before declaring most of their regions GMO-free. Britain officially supports GM crops and has trials of GMOs like potatoes planted. Austria, Greece and Poland are now completely GMO-free zones thanks to public and government support.

According to official data from last year, there was no GMO cultivation in Italy, a country fiercely protective of its agriculture, although some pro-biotech farmers have planted individual crops in recent months despite the widespread opposition.

Nearly 80 percent of Italians are in support of a ban, according to Italy's biggest farmers group Coldiretti, citing the results of a recent survey.

"The protection of Italian distinctiveness must be a policy priority since it determines the existence of 'Made in Italy', which is our engine, our future, our leverage to return to growth in the food industry," Coldiretti's president, Sergio Marini, said in a statement.

The Italian ban will be valid for a period of up to 18 months, the ministry added.

Five EU member states grew MON810 maize on 129,000 hectares in 2012, data from the International Service for the Acquisition of Agri-biotech Applications showed.

Spain was the top producer, followed by Portugal, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania.

Is the New Age religious belief system correct?

People nowadays are rejecting the one and only true living God of the Bible and instead are mixing many different beliefs to form their own personal “spirituality.” This new age spirituality says that God is everything and that everything and everyone is God. This new age spirituality claims that death and sin are just an illusion, that you create your own heaven or hell. This new age spirituality claims that reincarnation occurs until a person reaches oneness with God. And this new age spirituality claims that Jesus Christ was just a man, someone to be looked at as a teacher, someone who became an “ascended master,” and that Jesus is not needed as our Saviour because we all have the potential to become like God.

But the Bible tells us something very different about who God is, who Jesus Christ is, who the Holy Spirit is, and what is mankind’s relationship to God. Let’s search the Scriptures to see just how dangerous it is when one begins to believe that they are equal to God. Here are some of the topics that will be covered:

I originally wrote these pages to give to a person I know who has become interested in the new age movement. Interestingly enough, after reading this, the person has become very standoffish towards me. All I can say is “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? (Galatians 4:16)

(1) ARE YOU GOD, TOO? AM I GOD?

When you first read some of the new age literature, it sounds pretty harmless. You read of love and oneness and peace and truth. It all sounds very positive. You may even see some Bible verses referenced — verses such as “the Spirit of God dwells in you” or “God loves you, you have been chosen.” But the new age literature then takes it a step further. The new age belief system teaches that since God created you and the Spirit of God lives in you, then you, too, must be God. This is where the new age spirituality has now twisted God’s Word and has entered into a dangerous, rebellious position against the only true and living God. Let’s see what the Bible has to say about who God is and whether or not we can ever be His equal.

Isaiah 42:8, “I am the Lord; that is my name; and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.”

Isaiah 45:5, “I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God besides me.”

Isaiah 44:6, 8, “Thus saith the Lord, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and besides me there is no God.”

Isaiah 43:10, “…I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the Lord, and beside me there is no saviour.”

Isaiah 45:18, “For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord, and there is none else.”

God’s Word is very clear that there is one God and that He does not intend to share His glory with his creation, period! But now we have this “new age” teaching that says, “You, too, are God.” But as we will see, this type of mindset isn’t really so new after all.

(2) IS THE NEW AGE PHILOSOPHY REALLY “NEW”?

Wanting to be equal to God, is nothing new. Let’s read of the first created being who desired to be as God. His words are in Isaiah 14:14. “I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High.”

Who said these words? Lucifer, Satan, the devil himself. As a matter of fact, Satan later even filled Adam and Eve’s heads with the same foolish notions. He lied to them and told them to go against God’s instructions. Satan said, “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil..” (Genesis 3:5).

Whenever you hear someone whisper to you, “you can be like God,” they are repeating the words of the devil himself! They are giving you evil counsel that will lead you to a place of ultimate destruction.

Let’s see how God felt when Lucifer wished to become equal to Him. Ezekiel 28:2, 7-9 reads, “…Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God … behold therefore, I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness. They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas. Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.”

Satan will fall and be cast into the lowest depths of hell because of his desire to be as God and because of his rebellion against God, and the same fate awaits all others who choose to elevate themselves to equal standing with God. Let’s read additional verses that describe what awaits Lucifer because of his wanting to be as God. Isaiah 14:15-17, (Speaking of Satan) “Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; that made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?”

Hell was created for satan and all of the angels who joined satan in rebellion against God. People of this day who desire to model satan’s wish to become as God have the same fate awaiting them (hell) if they don’t realize who the one true and living God is and turn from their sins and accept God’s gift of grace.

(3) GOD’S TRUTH EXCHANGED FOR A LIE

We all have the true knowledge of who God is written on our hearts, but new age spiritualists choose to exchange the truth of God for a lie. Romans 1:18-20, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”

People, including new agers, know in their hearts who God is and that they themselves are not God, but they choose to become vain and worship themselves as God. The rest of Romans speaks on this:

Romans 1:21-23, “because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man…”

When you begin to think that you are the same as your Creator, it is similar to a vase created by hand out of potter’s clay turning around and saying to the potter, “I am you.” That clay will never become that man who formed it, and you will never become God. Romans 9:20 speaks on this: “Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay?”

The Bible clearly shows that we are not God, and no matter how good we think we are or how much kind work we do or how enlightened we become, we will never attain equality with God. Romans 3:23 reads, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” And Isaiah 64:6 reads, “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags.” And 1 John 1:8 tells us, “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” So if God’s Word is telling you that you fall short of God’s glory and that your righteousness is as filthy rags, and some sinful man is telling you that you, too, have God potential, who are you going to believe?

(4) WHY IS THE NEW AGE MOVEMENT SO POPULAR?

People are attracted to new age teachings and beliefs because the idea of being God-like is much more attractive than the knowledge that you are a sinner who deserves hell. But what are you going to say when you die and come face to face with the one true righteous God? When God shows you how you’ve broken every commandment and how you rejected Jesus Christ as your Savior, will you tell Him then that you qualify for heaven because you, too, are God? Hebrews 9:27 tells us, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” And Romans 14:10, 12, reads,”…For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ…So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.” If you do not today open your eyes and see that you are not god-like and that instead you are a sinner in need of a Savior, you will face the sad truth later when it is too late for you.

God made a way for us to be able to stand before Him on judgment day innocent, a way for us to be adopted into His family now and forever. No, you cannot be God, but you can be a child of God. But it is nothing that we can do in and of ourselves. It was something done for us long ago at Calvary. Romans 5:8-9 reads, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”

Don’t let the new age way of thinking deceive you into rejecting God’s gift of salvation. People who practice new age principles have nothing in common with God. Someone who disobeys God’s Words found in the Bible is someone who doesn’t even have fellowship with God. John 8:47 tells us, “He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.” New agers reject Christ, deny the existence of heaven and hell, distort the truths of the Bible, and are in rebellion to God.

You only have two choices: You are either for God or against Him. If you reject God and the sacrifice God made for you by having Christ die at Calvary for your sins and instead choose some man-made spirituality, then you will die in your sins and eternally be separated from God. John 8:42-44 reads, “Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me; for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do…”

New age spirituality in all of its different forms and names is really just man’s attempt to get away from the one true and living God. We are given many warnings against such teachings. Jeremiah 23:16-17 reads, “Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you; they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord. They say still unto them that despise me, The Lord hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.”

And Colossians 2:8-10 warns, “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.”

These verses are warning you not to fill your mind and heart with useless words from sinful man. New agers promise happiness and fulfillment in a man-made lie. God’s Word tells us, “But you, son of man, hear what I say to you. Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you.”

(5) IS THERE ANYONE WHO CAN CLAIM TO BE GOD?

In conclusion, there was only one man who ever walked the earth who could claim to be God: Jesus Christ. 1 Timothy 3:16 reads, “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up unto glory.”

And John 1:1-3, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” And John 1:14, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”

And in Hebrews 1:8-9, God calls Jesus God. “But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.”

Jesus was not just an enlightened master or teacher, and Jesus did not claim to be teaching mankind the truth; He claimed that He was the Truth. In John 14:6, it reads, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” What Jesus taught is important, but what is more important is who Jesus is. Jesus is God, and He is our only way to approach God. 1 Timothy 2:5 tells us, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself a ransom for all…”

Again, what are you going to choose? New age spirituality or Jesus Christ as your Savior?
